Saw Handle
Two saw handles from the same species of wood will never look alike. The grain pattern of the wood has its own individual expression and therefore every saw has its own characteristics. The handles are made from danish beech, european walnut, maple, elm or masur birch.
To ensure a perfect fit, each saw handle is custom made with respect to the size of the users hand.
Fabrication
Nordvirke Saws are fabricated north of Copenhagen, Denmark. They are crafted entirely by hand in a small, one-man operated workshop. Brass for the spine and screws, wood for the handle and spring steel for the saw blade is used to fabricate a saw.
Craftsmanship
Nordvirke Saws, a small danish company that brings back life to the forgotton craft of making excellent hand saws of highest standard and quality.
Every saw is an achievement of dedication and true craftsmanship. They are build to perfection and the cutting teeth are filed to precision.
